The Gospel Project - Webcast

LifeWay Christian Resources has long been an incredible resource for churches and families who want to grow in Christ. However, if there has been one consistent refrain in reference to the curriculum that LifeWay has offered, it has been that the curriculum offerings have not reflected sufficient theological depth. In an effort to change that, LifeWay has begun developing new curriculum lines, none of which excites me more than the upcoming release of "The Gospel Project". Here is how LifeWay describes this new project:

The Gospel Project is a Christ-centered curriculum that examines the grand narrative of Scripture and how the gospel transforms the lives of those it touches. Over a three-year plan of study, each session immerses participants — adults, students, and kids — in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to missions from Genesis to Revelation.

The new curriculum line launches next Wednesday during a webcast with Trevin Wax, Ed Stetzer, JD Greear & Matt Chandler, and I'm looking forward to being in attendance as they release this to the public. Our church had the privilege of being a pilot church for the curriculum a few months ago and we were very impressed by it. Starting in early 2013 Frederick will begin offering it in all of our Community Groups, from our youngest children to our oldest adults. I am very excited about having the whole church learning together, at the same pace. Working together, as a faith family, through the entire story of scripture over a three year period is really, really encouraging to me!

If you have some time next Wednesday, 2pm CDT, I would highly encourage you to take a few minutes and tune in to the webcast. I think it will be worth your time and energy!
